Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages 2011
This Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages offers clear ruby color with mild aromas of cherry and strawberries. On the palate, dry and hint of acidity with soft tannins. I felt just a little ruff after taste like sand. This simple and fruity Beaujolais-Villages can easily pair with your weeknight dishes.

Type: 42% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Franc, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon / Red
Region: Bordeaux, France
Year: 2009
Price range: $$$ ($30 – $50)
This one will put hair on your chest folks with the amount of tannins presented in this wine. I was not a huge fan of this one however; my petit but always better half really liked this one. She does have a preference for dry and not too sweet wines. If you can be a bit more patient than we are when opening a new wine bottle, letting this breathe for a bit would do wonders for its taste profile.

This Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc Les Setilles is very delicate to a point of saying it is feminine. Stunning Burgundy white wine. It has soft lemon tones, a subtle floral notes and opaque yellowish color. I would say have with a mildly salty dish like clam pasta.

This de la Janasse Cotes-du-Rhone-Villages offers pomegranate color with currant, pepper and licorice aroma. There are Cocoa, tobacco, little tannin and last long flavor. I also taste pomegranate tart too. I would say dry medium bodied. I loved it well balanced and juicy flavor.

This 2010 Côtes du Rhône is mostly a Syrah blended with Grenache and a touch of Mourvèdre. I think it’s a great blend and well balanced red. This offers dark cherry color and strong fruity aromas. Also has smoky kinda peppery aroma too. Its dry and I left open for over night (wouldn’t happen that often!) and the second day was much more dryer and less intense. Did it lose some flavor?

This wine is produced by a Sancerre wine maker. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc offers pale white peach color and powerful yet crispy lemon grass and melon aroma. Dry but enough fruitiness and well balanced. Very inexpensive and but makes think you’re having pricy Sancerre. I mean less than $10 and amazingly great wine. I should’ve bought a case!!
