Pinnacoli Primitivo di Manduria 2008 –
Type: Primitivo / Red
Region: Puglia, Italy
Year: 2008
Price range: $$ ($15 – $30)
I call this the NOT wine. Not too dry, Not that smooth, Not a long lasting finish, however not a bad drinking wine. Not sure if this would be considered full bodied as described on the bottle. However, with all that said, this was a good wine and far from average. Pair this with a plate of brie and salami for a pleasing snack.

Santa Margherita Prosecco Brut –
Type: Glera / Prosecco
Region: Valdobbiadene DOC, Italy
Year: N/V
Price range: $$ ($15 – $30)
Sometimes the delicate and gentle things get our attention. A delicate Brut would get my attention and this Santa Margherita Prosecco Brut commanded our attention. The mild sweetness contained in this semi dry sparkling wine has a well rounded body that is very enjoyable. The fruit flavor profiles are feathery and can almost go unnoticeable in the lively array of bubbles if you don’t pay attention, but as I said before, you will pay attention to this Santa Margherita Prosecco Brut because this delicate beauty deserves 100% once released. Enjoy my friends!
