This de la Janasse Cotes-du-Rhone-Villages offers pomegranate color with currant, pepper and licorice aroma. There are Cocoa, tobacco, little tannin and last long flavor. I also taste pomegranate tart too. I would say dry medium bodied. I loved it well balanced and juicy flavor.

This 2010 Côtes du Rhône is mostly a Syrah blended with Grenache and a touch of Mourvèdre. I think it’s a great blend and well balanced red. This offers dark cherry color and strong fruity aromas. Also has smoky kinda peppery aroma too. Its dry and I left open for over night (wouldn’t happen that often!) and the second day was much more dryer and less intense. Did it lose some flavor?
