This Black Stallion Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 offers dark ruby color with full of fruit aroma. Very rich currant and pomegranate aromas go through your nose and no need to wait. Just sip. On the palate, this Cabernet offers full-bodied but mellow tannin, juicy blackberry and pinch of sweetness. Also, the long lasting flavor lingers on your tongue. Very nice and pleasant Cabernet.

I found this awesome Cabernet Sauvignon at my local wine shop Old Town Wine Cellar, Yuma AZ for $22, a new item at the wine cellar. Its getting HOT in Yuma, AZ. Time to stock up my wine chiller otherwise you cannot get shipment. I mean it. Its HOT, already over 110F, not even June yet. (Unless you like boiling wine….)

I visited Napa Valley for the first time in September 2007. At that time I was new to wine tasting. Black Stallion Winery is one of wine tasting I did. Actually I loved it. Since then I was looking for it but never found it until last week. Hooray!

This was my very first Black Stallion Merlot…. I don’t know why the label looks so messy???
